Ry Cooder Performs "Congregatin," A PSA For Social Distancing

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Ry Cooder has written a new song "Congregatin'," a public service message encouraging everyone to do the opposite and social distance to combat COVID-19. Or, as he sings: no more congregatin'. You can watch him perform the song from home here:

Well, Governor Newsom begged and pleaded
These was the words he said:
"Don't answer the door for nobody
Tell 'em you're goin' to bed"
And Mayor Garcetti got up on the TV screen
Asking polite: "Won't you please stay quarantined?"
Yeah but then the President told the people:
"This old virus just can't last
Me and ol' Jared up in here doin' the dirty boogie
You know we don't wear no mask"
