Also featured on the soundtrack are songs from Tim Wheeler (Ash), Eliza Doolittle and Rizzle Kicks who provide a remix of Life's A Treat, the ever popular Shaun The Sheep TV theme.

Composer Ilan Eshkeri has been writing for film for over 15 years and his CV features stand-out scores for many hit films including Layer Cake, Kick-Ass, Still Alice and Black Sea. Recent TV work includes The Snowman And The Snowdog and David
Attenborough's Natural History Museum Alive.

The charming wonder Shaun the Sheep made his screen debut in 1995 with a minor role, rescuing Gromit from jail in the Oscar
winning A Close Shave. Since then his career has spiralled and he has become one of Aardman Animation's biggest stars.

Ilan Eshkeri - Composer Biography

Ilan Eshkeri is a British composer and songwriter best known for his concert work, songwriting collaborations, film scores and video game scores.

Most recently Eshkeri collaborated with the world renowned visual artists The Chapman Brothers on their film THE MARRIAGE OF REASON AND SQUALOR and Squalor and scored Aardman Animations' SHAUN THE SHEEP, as well as writing the songs for the film with Nick Hodgson of the Kaiser Chiefs and Tim Wheeler of Ash. Eshkeri has also collaborated with KT Tunstall, Tom Odell, Coldplay, Kasabian, Burial, David Gilmour, Annie Lennox and Marius DeVries. He worked with Amon Tobin on a live symphonic performance of his work, wrote the song Only You for Sinead O'Connor, worked with Take That on his score to the film Stardust and has been commissioned to write for the world renowned classical pianist Lang Lang.

Recent film work includes STILL ALICE, for which Julianne Moore won an Oscar, Kevin Macdonald's BLACK SEA starring Jude Law, 47 RONIN starring Keanu Reeves, and the Oscar nominated THE INVISIBLE WOMAN, Ralph Fiennes' second outing as a director. Ilan continues to write the music for SIMS, one of the world's largest video game franchises. Other films include Oscar winning THE YOUNG VICTORIA, KICK-ASS and STARDUST.

Eshkeri's various live performances include THE SNOWMAN & THE SNOWDOG, a collaboration with singer/songwriter Andy Burrows, live to picture at a series of concerts in London. Eshkeri has performed with Melanie C (The Spice Girls), James Corden (The Late Late Show), Nick Laird-Clowes (The Dream Academy) and has conducted his own works at The Louvre in Paris, The Rudolfinum in Prague and The Royal Albert Hall in London.

Amongst his awards and nominations are a BAFTA for THE SNOWMAN & THE SNOWDOG, an Ivor Novello for THE YOUNG VICTORIA, a Wildscreen Panda Award for the score to David Attenborough's NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM ALIVE, an International Film Music Critics Association 'Best Original Score' for STARDUST and a 'Discovery of the Year' from the World Soundtrack Awards for his first film score, LAYER CAKE. Eshkeri is currently commissioned to compose a ballet, and is completing his score to AUTOBAHN starring Anthony Hopkins, Ben Kingsley, Nicholas Hoult & Felicity Jones.
