The Stryd Releases Debut Album With Sharawaji Records
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Stryd was formed through a shared visceral love for rock'n'roll that would take them back to the roots of their musical passion: heavy, fast but melodic songs, composed with the accuracy of the Beatles and played with the urgency of the Ramones.

They began playing live to electrifying success in January 2015, their first show at Fanfulla club alongside historic Roman band P38 Punk with follow up shows alongside Sine Die, Ronin Way and Dr Script.

The Stryd's debut release features 12 original tracks - a synthesis of their energy, musical skills and mutual affection and understanding, delivered in the pure and direct language of punk, garage, surf and rock'n'roll - is now available from Sharawaji Records as a Limited Edition Digipack CD, with digital downloads also available from December 2015.

Press
"Try to imagine the "gabba gabba hey" Ramones attitude, the Buzzcocks' irony and power-pop flavoured vocal harmonies that reminds of The Raspberries and Badfinger. But there's more... Some Steppenwolf retro-rock patterns, pretty sharp mod-punk hooks and a touch of aggressive elegance that recalls Costello and the Attractions early stuff, but with a power-trio line-up. Prepare to be blown away by the Summer of Hate breeze, 'cause it's coming, comin' on.." (Fabio Babini, Ritual Magazine)

"Rome Calling .. join them and the elevator takes you to an underground where neon- grown brambles meet shreds of romance" (Ale Bat)
