Former Journey Frontman Steve Augeri To Headline Charity For American Cancer Society
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hailed as the man with the golden voice, former Journey front man Steve Augeri will, once again, be taking fans on a voyage of musical history as he performs during Steve Augeri: An American Cancer Society Benefit at the Carolina Theatre on Saturday, March 12 at 8 PM (ET).

Augeri, who is best known for his time as the lead vocalist for Journey from 1998 to 2006 and was the first official lead singer since the departure of Steve Perry, continues to excite fans with his soaring vocal performances of the Journey tunes that everyone remembers.

He is currently touring the country with such artists as Robby Steinhardt from the band Kansas, Skunk Baxter formerly from the Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan and more and has recently released a single entitled In The Moment, which is available on iTunes.

Joining Augeri as special guests at the Steve Augeri: An American Cancer Society Benefit are Charlie Colin of the Grammy-Award winning band Train and Danny Beissel of the Warner Brothers/ILG signed band Fosterchild and front man for The American Vinyl All Star Band.

Tickets to the show range from $22.50-$45.50, with net proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society. Additionally, an exclusive after party will be held for $50.00 (plus ticket price) that will include more live music. Food and drink will be provided as well as an opportunity for pictures and autographs. Note, ALL proceeds from the after party go directly to the American Cancer Society.

Also, anyone who purchases a ticket will be eligible for a drawing for three nights at a Hard Rock Resort in the Caribbean or Mexico provided by Hard Rock Resorts and Imagine Travel.
