Waters and Stone are two nobody police officers working dull administrative jobs and making extra money selling stolen Civil Service Exams to other officers. When Stone hears a story about a heroin dealer quickly beating his extremely high bail, the two friends set into motion a plan to find the origin of such a large amount of cash. Through diligent police work they follow a trail that leads directly to a custom bank-style vault built into the back room freezer of a small grocery store. They put a plan into motion to rob the vault and split whatever they find inside. But by the time they figure out what the vault contains, it�s already too late to turn back. THE TRUST stars Nicolas Cage, Elijah Wood, and Jerry Lewis.
ABOUT REZA SAFINIA
Reza is a composer and film producer raised in London and living in LA. Prior to working in film, he was a Universal Music songwriter and record producer/engineer with work spanning from pop (Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears) to underground (Freestylers, Ms Dynamite). He is a co-founder of UK indie label Illa State records, among the pioneers of UK urban music, meshing hip hop and electro, with MOBO award winning artist Akala.
Influenced by Beethoven and Nine Inch Nails in equal parts, Reza�s textured approach to composing fuses orchestra with contemporary music production and sound design. He is always fascinated by exploring soundscape as much as harmony and melding the two to serve the image in a tactile way. This sound can be heard in films like the FILLY BROWN blurring the lines between hip-hop and orchestra, and the Stephen King adaptation MERCY, combining earthy Appalachian string arrangements with tweaked electronics. Recent projects include the upcoming heist thriller THE TRUST starring Nicholas Cage and Elijah Wood.
As a film-maker Reza is developing a film, TV and trans-media slate, as well as executive producing projects such as Michael Winterbottom�s THE FACE OF AN ANGEL, starring Daniel Bruhl and Kate Beckinsale.
