Lisa Marini Releases "Buried Town" On April 21, 2023
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) A multifaceted artist, raised in London. Lisa Marini's soon to be released album 'Buried Town' was self-written, self-recorded, and self-produced; her visuals self-made, her approach self-sufficient. After her entire 2020 tour was cancelled, Marini's debut album 'Born in Tribes' felt as if it were lost inside the pandemic. This false start turned out to be an opportunity: a more free and direct way of creating emerged.

Her music has been played on Jazz fm, BBC Scotland and used in a documentary about refugees in New Zealand. She has played at the Jazz Cafe twice, on the main stage at Wilderness festival and at the 02 for the Blues Fest.

"An auspicious debut, Marini has the potential to one of the most significant voices of the next decade and beyond" - Mike Davies Folk Radio UK

"Her self penned songs are achingly melodic and artfully delivered. Her oeuvre is not soul but is totally soulful, It's not Jazz but is catlike cool, It's not country but has global appeal" Paul Latham, Former CEO at Live Nation - UK Ireland
