New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Rising country music artist Lucas Hoge was able to honor our nation's servicemen and women face-to-face this Memorial Day weekend as he visited with our troops at undisclosed areas of operation in the Middle East and entertained them with some of his new music. As part of the 6th Annual Wrangler® National Patriot Tour, Hoge performed as the only Official Wrangler National Patriot Artist on the tour, alongside Wrangler® Cowboys and Cowgirls.
"To get to be a part of this tour and spend one-on-one time with the heroes who are fighting every day for our freedom… It's been a real honor for me," Hoge said. "This is what Memorial Day is all about."
Captain Erik Anthes from Fort Riley, Kansas was in attendance at one of Hoge's fireside performances on his military base and said, "I had a great time with these guys. Although it was still over 90 degrees after the sun went down, and we've been 'dry' for eight months, having a fire and great country music brought me back home to the Midwest, even if it was just a few hours. Thanks for coming out and spending some time with us. It was greatly appreciated."
Newly signed to Reviver Records, Hoge is slated to release new music this year. He is also the latest Cabela's Brand Ambassador. For more information on Lucas Hoge, visit www.lucashoge.com.
