New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Music Tastes Good schedule is now live at https://mtglb.co/schedule#/schedule/byVenue. Festival attendees can build their own schedules of favorite artists and chefs, discover new ones, and receive important festival updates using the MTG app.

Presented by 89.9 KCRW, the colossal two-day, music, food and art festival (ranked #5 on Paste Magazine's list of the best music festival lineups of 2017 and #11 on British Airways/High Life Magazine's list of 30 reasons to love the USA) will take over Downtown Long Beach's beautiful waterfront Marina Green Park the weekend of September 30-October 1, 2017, with influential alt-rock trailblazers Ween and Sleater-Kinney headlining Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Tickets are still on sale at https://mtglb.co/.

With an amplified focus on their culinary program food this year, Music Tastes Good's new "Taste Tent" will assemble some of the top chefs from both Southern California and the Bayou, for what organizers are calling, a "Port-to-Port" experience, a cultural exchange of flavors and ideas between Long Beach, New Orleans, and their surrounding communities.

Culinary rockstars in their own right, the lineup of acclaimed and award-winning chefs taking part in Music Tastes Good this year includes: Lafayette, LA's Collin Cormier Pop's Poboys and New Orleans' Kelly Fields Willa Jean, Isaac Toups Toups Meatery, Mason Hereford - Turkey & The Wolf (named Bon Appetit Magazine's 'Best New Restaurant in America' for 2017), Melissa Martin Mosquito Supper Club, Michael Gulotta MayPop and Alfredo Nogueria Cafe Henri, as well as Long Beach, CA's Arthur Gonzales Roe, Dave MacLennan James Republic, Gus Sverkos - Kafe Neo, Khanh Hoang Company of Khanh, Luis Navarro Social List & Lola's, Paul Buchanan Primal Alchemy and Philip Pretty - Restauration.

Praise for Music Tastes Good:

"This Fall's Best SoCal Music Festival Isn't in Indio — It's in Long Beach"- LA Weekly

"Music Tastes Good showcases Long Beach with an accessible, approachable debut." - Los Angeles Times

"Perhaps most impressive, however, was the fact that Halperin and Fischel put on the festival without the help of a major promoter, making it the rare music event today to go a pure independent route."- Los Angeles Times

"With a solid lineup from top to bottom, it was hard to find a bad time to catch good music." -LA Weekly

"Music Tastes Good aims to put Long Beach on the festival map."- Los Angeles Times

"For fans inside the festival, Music Tastes Good offered that rare experience of a fest that was easy to navigate, had a no-hassles attitude and was comfortably well-run."- Orange County Register

"But while food at the aforementioned fests is most definitely secondary to the music - Long Beach's Music Tastes Good might be the only one around with food built into its original concept. Hell, it's even in the name."- OC Weekly
