New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Y el mundo me comió a mí is the sixth and last cut of Latin Grammy nominee album Suenan las alarmas, the most recent studio work of No te va gustar, in this case in an incredible live version, recorded in Montevideo during the album's official presentation.
This song was also chosen by the producers of the
Falco television series to be included in the original soundtrack. In the video, you can appreciate the powerful mix of NTVG interacting passionately with their audience in this solid live recording, subtly combined with impressive panoramic views of Mexico City and the captivating theatrics of the
Falco scenes, a series directed by Ernesto Contreras and Julián de Tavira.
No te va gustar has toured a great part of Latin
America and the United States on board of their Suenan Las Alarmas tour, which has its official closing on November 22, 24 and 25 at the Obras Sanitarias Stadium in Buenos Aires.
Suenan las alarmas is an internationally acclaimed album and recently received the nomination to the Latin Grammy award in the category Best Rock Album this year; a very personal and mature record, where the Uruguayan band elegantly demonstrates more than 20 years of trajectory. Elefante Blanco in Montevideo, Romaphonic in Buenos Aires, White Water
Music in New York and Bass Station in Brooklyn. The artistic production was carried out by Héctor Castillo, the talented Venezuelan producer and four time Latin Grammy winner for ¨Ahí Vamos¨ and ¨Fuerza Natural¨ by Gustavo Cerati, as well as being internationally recognized for his work with Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Aterciopelados and
David Bowie, within others. The mastering was done by Dave Mc Nair.
