Philadelphia Jazz Sensation Releases New Sound
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Sporting a brand new sound, Drivetime the noted Philadelphia based jazz ensemble, is ready to satisfy even the most discerning of jazz fan. It can truly be said that the new sound is the groups coronation of over thirty plus years on the Philadelphia jazz scene by six amazing artists. Their new sound is constructed on a pleasant foundation of smooth jazz that is interwoven with uptown funk. The result is a fresh, vibrant musical experience and yet there is a rather familiar old school kind of feel within each tune. In addition to the new Urban Organic Jazz sound one would be remiss not to mention the exquisite mixing of the tracks in and of themselves. The clarity and the crispness on each single is such that the listener is able to hear every single instrument and not feel as though any one position is fighting for space. The result is that the ambiance is enhanced, the listening experience is pleasurable, an overall wonderful experience. You're going to love the new sound of Drivetime.

Band Leader Bernie Capodici has been honing the perfect sound for literally decades. At one point in his life he actually moved to the islands so he could absorb the rich, whole sound of the music. Then upon his return to the states he sought to surround himself with music scholars from Julliard and other highly respected schools of higher learning. In addition Bernie forged close relationships with noted jazz musicians and then overall began to meld a sound that one day would be exactly what a class A jazz ensemble would be proud to deliver. The end result is Drive Time, a close knit collaboration of life long musicians and scholars that are delivering a unique, pleasant experience. A tapestry, a blend of sounds and styles, delivered by the noted jazz masters of our day. Whispers envelopes and therefore the experience is indeed relaxing, yet motivating, and invites you back for more. Enjoy the latest from Drivetime.
