New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Toni Braxton's ninth studio album Sex & Cigarettes can now be heard in full. The album follows the release of its self-titled single, as well as the song "Long As I Live," a soulful 90s-sounding slow jam, and includes the song "My Heart," a collaboration with pop singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat.
Braxton's 8-song effort features the previously-released singles "Deadwood," "Long As I Live," and the title track. Colbie Caillat is the album's lone guest (" My Heart"). Elsewhere, Toni handles things on her own on "FOH," "Sorry," and "Coping."
Recently, Toni Braxton revealed what fans should expect from her first solo album in eight years. "It's a lot of pre- and post-sex on this album," she told "Sway in the Morning." "Have you ever had a guy that came to your bed, smelling like sex and cigarettes? Not literally, meaning the scent of somebody else he's been with. You just know. The intuition is letting you know something is going on. That's what the album is about."
Additionally, Toni's fiancé Birdman praised her talents: "She's a legend," the Cash Money boss told recently. "She do her thing. She's just prolific with that shit. I think she's a one-of-one and a very special talent in the music business." Listen to Sex & Cigarettes below:
