Alan Doyle To Kick Off New Run Of US Tour Dates Beginning February 27th
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Iconic Newfoundland singer-songwriter, best-selling author, actor and recent recipient of the Order of Canada, Alan Doyle will be continuing his U.S. tour starting on February 27th. After a successful run of dates in January that brought Doyle to Seattle, Los Angeles, Denver, Houston and more, the singer-songwriter will be returning for a new string of dates from the Midwest through Northeast with his incredibly talented touring band. A consumate live performer and storyteller, Doyle remarks, "I always want people to have the greatest night of their life when the house lights go down." See below for a full list of tour dates.

Alan Doyle also recently released his new video for "Beautiful To Me", which premiered with Pride.com. Created with the help of the activism/art group The Magic Project, the video is "a tribute to the beauty of LGBT people". You can watch "Beautiful To Me" HERE.

Doyle's third solo album, A Week at The Warehouse is currently out via Universal Music Canada. The album was recorded live off the floor with Doyle's band and legendary producer Bob Rock at the helm. The album is chock-a-block with country-tinged, radio-ready tunes that carry Doyle's signature blend of traditional and modern flavors. Rock's own band, Payola$, is celebrated with a cover of "Forever Light Will Shine" - which includes a guest vocal from none other than Paul Hyde. The album's first single, the call to the campfire salvo "Summer Summer Night" was released in June of last year, with a second to follow.

Doyle was the lead singer of iconic Canadian band Great Big Sea, known for fusing traditional Newfoundland music with their own pop sensibilities. Their nine albums, double-disc hits retrospective, and two DVD releases have all been declared Gold or Platinum and have sold a combined 1.2 million copies in Canada. His third solo album continues to cement Doyle's reputation as one of the country's most treasured musicians and storytellers.

In October 2017, Doyle also released the follow-up to his best-selling 2014 memoir, Where I Belong, with A Newfoundlander In Canada: Always Going Somewhere, Always Coming Home. Picking up approximately where the last concluded, this book tells of Doyle's first explorations outside of Newfoundland, experiencing the breadth of Canada for the first time.
