Augustana Hits the Road

NEW YORK, NY (Epic RecordsS) - Epic Records' breaking artist Augustana is returning to the road with an 18-city tour kicking off January 10 in San Francisco, making a final stop in New York City.

After just a few months rest from a successful summer tour with Snow Patrol, Augustana has been jumping up the digital charts, securing a home in iTunes top 50 and MySpace's top 100. The band also has been added to VH-1's 'You Oughta Know' and their video can be seen in heavy rotation on MTV.

Since the release of their debut album, All the Stars and Boulevards, produced by Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus), Augustana has toured almost non-stop and shared the stage with huge national acts such as: the Counting Crows, Goo Goo Dolls, The Fray, Switchfoot and Stereophonics.

The new Epic Records addition, Vega4, will be supporting Augustana on the road. Their highly praised major label debut, You And Others, was digitally released on October 31st and was produced by none other than the great Garret 'Jacknife' Lee (Bloc Party, Editors, U2, and Snow Patrol). The dates you see below will mark the Irish band's first major label US tour!
