Award Winning Indie Artist Releases Jeff Buckley Song And New Video
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Carson Henley officail website) Carson Henley, award winning Seattle singer-songwriter, released his latest video for the song "Last Goodbye", featuring The Passenger String Quartet (Macklemore & Ryan Lewis). The song is a heartfelt cover of the 1994 track, written by the late Jeff Buckley.

Carson, the oldest of three children born to a professional singer, started taking Suzuki Method piano lessons at the age of three. His second studio album, 100 HOURS, has drawn comparisons to Joe Cocker, James Morrison and Maroon 5. Produced by Grammy-winning engineer, Kory Kruckenberg and mastered by the Grammy-winning Brian Lucey (Black Keys), 100 Hours was named #2 Album of the Year by Blues Rock Review. In 2013, it won the Independent Music Award for Best Pop Album, and the single, Go Under, received Song Door's 2013 Songwriting Award Winner. Henley is currently writing and recording his next album, with favorite artists like Jeff Buckley providing inspiration.

Jeff Buckley (1966 - 1997), was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. After a decade as a session guitarist in Los Angeles, Buckley amassed a following in the early 1990s by playing cover songs at venues in Manhattan's East Village, gradually focusing more on his own material. Rolling Stone considered him one of the greatest singers of all time. He tragically drowned at the age of 30 with chart success coming posthumously. With his famous cover of Leonard Cohen's song, "Hallelujah", he attained his first No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Digital Songs in March 2008 and reached No. 2 in the UK Singles Chart that December.
