New York, NY (Top40 Charts / PAV Events) BARBARELLA by PRESIDENTE announces details about production and the full list of artists for its much anticipated fifth edition, which will take place on June 3 at the Quisqueya Stadium in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
In its fifth year, BARBARELLA by PRESIDENTE presents JOURNEY, a proposal that will raise the standards of the biggest party in Dominican Republic to a new level internationally. On this occasion, the stadium will take the shape of a spaceship where all attendees will be part of the crew of this journey which will make them live a multisensory experience through visuals, sound effects and a variety of electronic and pop music artists.
"Each year we strive to raise the standards of this show. This edition will not just be a show full of great artists, but we will turn this party into a conceptual experience never before seen in Dominican Republic," said Paul Pou, producer of the event.
This year, the list of participating artists in BARBARELLA JOURNEY by Presidente will include a mix of great exponents of electronic and pop music:
Sam Feldt from the Netherlands, Mexican-American DJ Deorro, Australian
DJ Tommy Trash, GRAMMY® winner
Robin Schulz, North American band
Passion Pit, and the Canadian Kiesza, who was just awarded with the "Breakthrough Artist of the Year" at the Juno Awards. Also attending will be the electronic music duo Krewella, Jahan Yousaf and Yasmine Yousaf, Australian DJs Miriam
Nervo and
Olivia Nervo from NERVO and the brothers Chris Chronicles and Alex Andre from DVBBS. To top it off, we will have Dutch
DJ Nicky Romero, and American singer and composer Matthew Koma, who has worked with artists like
Kelly Clarkson and Britney Spears.
