Brian Culbertson To Getaway In A Lexus
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Great Scott P.R.oductions) Brian Culbertson's pursuit of perfection has nabbed a getaway car. The contemporary jazz star's Napa Valley Jazz Getaway adds luxury automobile manufacturer Lexus as presenting sponsor for the third annual wine and jazz festival luring thousands of enthusiasts from all over the world to idyllic Napa Valley this week (June 11-15) to celebrate the good life.

The event features concerts large and intimate by Grammy-winning and chart-topping contemporary jazz, R&B and funk stars along with wine tastings, gourmet dining, post-concert hangs and the second annual Napa Valley Jazz Getaway Golf Tournament.

Lexus will have a presence throughout the immersive music and lifestyle festival with volunteers, signage and vehicles. The rare and mighty LFA supercar, with a 552 hp 4.8-liter V10 engine, will help Getaway attendees have a roaring good time. Also on display will be the eye-catching RX 350 and RX 450h hybrid luxury utility vehicles.

As a long-time Lexus owner, Culbertson, the festival's founder and creative director as well as one of the headline performers, believes the partnership is an ideal match. "I've been a Lexus driver for the past 12 years - four different cars, in fact - and I find their combination of performance, style and luxury above and beyond any of their competitors. I even included one of my cars in the music video for 'Skies Wide Open' just because it looked cool. When we had the opportunity to partner with Lexus at the Napa Valley Jazz Getaway, I knew it would be a perfect fit. Their attention to detail and focus on customer service are two ideologies that are also very important to me. I couldn't be more thrilled to welcome Lexus to the Getaway as our presenting sponsor for 2014," said Culbertson, who recently notched his 27th No. 1 Billboard single as an artist, producer and songwriter from his sixth album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Albums chart, "Another Long Night Out."

The Napa Valley Jazz Getaway serves a taste of California Wine Country through partnerships with some of Napa Valley's best wineries and fine dining establishments centered around concerts at the Lincoln Theater and outdoors on the stunning Jamieson Ranch Vineyards grounds top-lined this year by Culbertson, Eric Benét, Lee Ritenour, Dave Grusin, Ohio Players, Morris Day & The Time, Earl Klugh, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Mavis Staples, Average White Band, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Eric Darius, David Benoit, Michael Lington, Eric Marienthal, Jazz in Pink featuring Gail Jhonson, Althea Rene and Karen Briggs; and Cecil Ramirez. Backstage passes are not necessary as guests and the musicians interact freely while enjoying the unique cultural offerings found exclusively in Napa Valley.
