SANTA MONICA, Calif. (Top40 Charts / Interscope Records) Following a very successful stint with BRITNEY SPEARS in the United States, Spears has tapped teen pop duo DESTINEE & PARIS to continue to open for her throughout the European leg of her FEMME FATALE tour, in support of their forthcoming debut album from Streamline/Interscope records.
Taking the girls from Russia to England, Ireland, Germany and more, Destinee & Paris will open the tour for nearly 30 dates that began September 20th and will finish with a show in Abu Dhabi on November 11th. Tickets are on-sale now through Live Nation. To chronicle the duo's debut overseas, the sisters will release a regular video series with special behind the scenes footage of their travels abroad, performances and more, featuring songs from their forthcoming album on their YouTube page www.youtube.com/destineeandparis.

DESTINEE & PARIS' debut single, "TRUE LOVE," which is available now at all digital retailers, has already garnered nearly 500,000 views on Vevo. "TRUE LOVE" is the result of a collaboration between songwriter Lazonate Franklin and producers Carl Falk, Rami Yacoub & Swedish House Mafia's Steve Angello. Rising from a club-ready beat into a soaring hook carried by the girls, "TRUE LOVE," is an international anthem that's ready for dance floors and arenas everywhere. Angello is not the only powerhouse producer who the duo have collaborated with, GRAMMY-winning producer RedOne has also produced a significant number of tracks for the album. Also, drawing inspiration from another pair of successful sisters, Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart, Destinee & Paris wrote a number of the songs for the album themselves.
Most recently, Destinee & Paris made their way into America's homes by way of the small screen appearing regularly on American Idol Season 10, for which they were hand selected to contribute backing vocals and harmonies to the contestants' performances throughout the season. These appearances earned them a spot on the official Idol soundtrack as well as on winner Scotty McCreery's debut single, "I Love You This Big." Since signing a deal with Streamline/Interscope records via Jimmy Iovine and Vincent Herbert, Destinee & Paris have been writing and recording songs for the album, a release date for which will soon be announced.
