"Splinter is the explanation my fans deserve as to where I've been and what's been going on with me for the last five plus years," states Sparxxx. "I think the song is a testimony of struggle, faith and perseverance that all people can relate to. We all struggle, we all endure pain and we can either crumble completely or allow that pain and struggle to make us strong, and emerge a better version of our previous selves on the other side. That's what this song and video is about. Sometimes we have to bury our old ways of thinking and living to be reborn the person we always believed we could be."
Rapper, writer, and artist, Crucifix, is featured in both the song and video portraying the metaphorical "Grim Reaper" who comes to Bubba's aide during his resurrection representing his current musical reemergence.
Crucifix, profiled in the forthcoming documentary "Road to Chernobyl," is gearing up to release his third album Acid Reign in 2013 which critics are already hailing as his best work yet. www.crucifixmusic.com.
