New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Caleb Elliott is sharing his Weed, Wine and Time this spring, the Muscle Shoals musician's new eleven-song collection out April 14 via Southern independent music staples Single Lock Records. Celebrated as a go-to session man and songwriter in his thriving hometown music community, Elliott steps to center stage on Weed, Wine and Time to share gripping vignettes culled from his own observed experiences and upbringing in small-town Louisiana. He uses his rich authenticity to share stories of adversity - and of the communal beliefs that too-often serve as their catalysts - but most interesting to Elliott is how we find it in ourselves to overcome these adversities. The album's title may offer an effective (if only half-joking) quick fix, for certain, but these songs take a profound deep dive into the rich and nuanced wisdom he's learned along the way.

Listen to the first track "Isolation," a duet between Elliott and Seratones' vocalist AJ Haynes which showcases the two Louisianans natural chemistry behind a sea of synths and strings at once potent and sublime. The accompanying music video was directed by Lee Taylor: https://youtu.be/_XvAtMfLyyw

"AJ and I wrote this duet in Lafayette, Louisiana and it came together very quickly and naturally," remembers Elliott. "She has a singular voice and an undeniable knack for lyrics as well as melody and harmony. It is easily one of my favorite songs on the album."

An artist who (perhaps unexpectedly) made his name on the cello, Elliott is joined on the new album by many friends he's met from his musical journeys including Alabama Shakes' Ben Tanner and Zac Cockrell, John Paul White, Haynes and Maggie Rose. The album was co-produced by Elliott and Tanner, and will be released via Muscle Shoals' own Single Lock Records - whose recent accomplishments include three 2022 GRAMMY nominations, their first-ever GRAMMY win, and a pair of 2022 A2IM Libera wins. Single Lock celebrates its tenth year anniversary in 2023, with Weed, Wine and Time serving as the label's first release to kick off the festivities. Elliott will also be taking Weed, Wine and Time on the road later this year, with a full list of dates to be announced soon.
