New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Los Angeles based Cambodian and American rock band DENGUE FEVER (www.denguefevermusic.com), announced today that they will be heading to Cambodia for a weeklong tour of the country next month. The band also confirmed a live performance on national television on Cambodian Television Network (CTN) as well.

Known for their exotic blend of Cambodian rock, Afro grooves, surf, and garage psych, DENGUE FEVER have been touring throughout 2015 in support of their latest release The Deepest Lake. The band has done three stints of touring in the US and Canada as well as a month-long trek throughout Europe this past summer. 2016 promises to be just as busy, with tour dates already confirmed in the U.S. on the West Coast and the Midwest in March and April. This is the bands first trip to Cambodia since 2013.

Late last year the influential music magazine Mojo, named DENGUE FEVER�S The Deepest Lake to their Best World Music Albums of 2015. Dengue Fever released The Deepest Lake (available on CD, colored vinyl and digital formats) on their own label, Tuk Tuk Records earlier this year, the band has received overwhelming response in the press from a variety of publications. These include Mojo, Uncut, NME, Hot Press, Q, The Financial Times, The Ox (Germany), The Independent, The Guardian, Shindig, Songlines, R2, Cultured Vultures and many more

ABOUT DENGUE FEVER
DENGUE FEVER is Cambodian songstress Chhom Nimol, Zac Holtzman (guitar/vocals), Ethan Holtzman (keyboards), Senon Williams (bass), Paul Smith (drums) and David Ralicke (horns). They have released five albums, Dengue Fever, Escape From Dragon House, Venus On Earth, Cannibal Courtship, In The Ley Lines, the DVD/CD soundtrack to the band�s documentary, Sleepwalking Through The Mekong, a collection of lost Cambodian classics, Dengue Fever Presents: Electric Cambodia and in 2015 The Deepest Lake. They are based in Los Angeles.
