Charlie Puth Joins Meghan Trainor on Her Hugely Anticipated "MTrain Tour" This Summer
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Artist Partners/Atlantic recording artist Charlie Puth has announced plans for a major summer tour. The New Jersey-based singer/songwriter/producer will join Meghan Trainor on her upcoming "MTrain Tour," with dates getting underway July 3 at Atlantic City's Borgata Festival Park and then travels through September (see itinerary below).

Puth and Trainor are already making waves together with the talented young tunesmith's breakthrough single, "Marvin Gaye (Feat. Meghan Trainor)," which is now available at all DSPs. The track -- which debuted last month at TeenVogue (https://www.teenvogue.com/entertainment/music/2015-02/meghan-trainor-charlie-puth-marvin-gaye-full-track-premiere) - is accompanied by an ebullient companion video; the clip has just had its world premiere exclusive via Buzzfeed (https://bzfd.it/1bPAZSj) and is streaming now at Puth's hugely popular YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/user/CharliesVlogs.

Meanwhile, "See You Again," by Wiz Khalifa (Feat. Charlie Puth), is proving one of the popular highlights of FURIOUS 7: ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK, Atlantic Records' official musical companion to Universal's new action-thriller. The track - which was also written and produced by Puth - is now ascending Billboard's "Hot 100" while climbing multi-format radio outlets nationwide. In addition, Puth and Khalifa recently united for an electrifying live performance of "See You Again" on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, streaming now at www.nbc.com/the-tonight-show/video/wiz-khalifa-ft-charlie-puth-see-you-again/2853260. Billboard said about Charlie's performance, "live, he sounded like he could give Sam Smith a run for his money." Khalifa and Puth also performed the anthem in front of a massive live audience at Los Angeles' Hollywood & Highland complex for Revolt TV's FURIOUS 7 premiere broadcast event earlier this week.

Charlie Puth first attracted national notice when his YouTube cover version of Adele's "Someone Like You" caught the ear of Ellen DeGeneres, who invited Puth to perform on her nationally syndicated show before signing him to a development deal with her eleveneleven record label. The young artist has since found himself among modern pop's most in-demand co-writers and producers, with recent credits including tracks by Pitbull, Jason Derulo, and Songbook Entertainment/Atlantic's own Trey Songz.

A New Jersey native and Berklee College of Music graduate, Puth - who makes a surprise cameo in Meghan Trainor's smash "Dear Future Husband" companion video - is currently hard at work writing and recording his Atlantic Records debut EP. The as-yet-untitled collection will arrive later this year.
