LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts) My Chemical Romance were crowned this year's biggest winners at the NME Awards. The band picked up two high profile awards for Best International Band and Best Video.
Muse beat Arctic Monkeys, Foals, Kasabian and Biffy Clyro to land the prestigious Best British Band Award and Brit favourite Laura Marling took the gong for Best Solo Artist.
Dave Grohl performed a marathon set, refusing to leave the stage at his allotted time and jumped onto a table in the audience to perform My Hero. Viewers also saw Dave Grohl nab the gong for 'Godlike Genius.'
Justin Bieber was voted least stylish before his record, My World 2.0, was picked on for the worst album prize!
Matt Bellamy's band extended a four-year victorious run at the event, trumping the Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and Biffy Clyro to the best British band gong.
Bellamy, boyfriend of Hollywood star Kate Hudson, was handed a further ego boost when he landed the hottest man prize.
Over three and a half million NME readers voted for the awards. NME editor Krissi Murison said more than 3.5 million votes were cast by the magazine's readers.
Highlights from the event will be shown on Channel 4 on 26 February at 1125 and 2320 GMT.
