New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Conscientious Country music sensation Matthew Human returns to Nashville to finish recording his eighth studio album, 'Reality', a solo Country-Pop project that breaks musical barriers and brings fresh new energy to the Country genre. This highly anticipated album reflects Human going back to his musical roots, inspired by adventures in Costa Rica and years of performing on the transformational festival circuit. The new single "Shoes Under My Bed" showcases Matthew's vocal and guitar talents, and will hit home with Country music fans.

Matthew pioneered the "conscious country" genre, telling tales of the simple rural life where healthy food, clean air and water, true love and community are core human values. His music forms a backdrop for a world in transition, a positive force for better living aligned with global movements for health and social justice.

A gifted Singer/Guitarist/Songwriter, Matthew Human has always been an outspoken proponent of small farmers' rights, and protecting the world's food and water supply from profiteers. His talent and commitment to these important causes helped garner Matthew Human a following in the foodie world, among people who care about what they eat and where it originated. He went on the road three times to support GMO Labeling initiatives - a march from Brooklyn NY to Washington DC in 2011, and tours in California in 2012, and Oregon in 2014. Awards bestowed upon Matthew for his transformational efforts include: 2012-Best of Raw Award- Best Raw Friendly Musical Act, 2012-Best of Raw Award- Best Raw Friendly Song-"Monkey Medicine", 2008-Art of Heart Songwriting Contest-Grand Prize Winner-"My Community" and 2007-American Marijuana Music Association-Best Video-"Tree of Life". Recently, he was also honored when named as the Music Ambassador of Food For Life Global, the worlds largest vegetarian food relief organization with millions of meals served daily.

Best known for his award-winning pro-cannabis video Tree of Life, which has received over 600k views and became an anthem in the hemp movement, Matthew formed the country-rock dance band The Human Revolution in 2003. Featuring a rotating cast of master musicians, the band became one of the best-loved acts on the West Coast festival circuit from 2004 to 2011.

Human returned to Nashville, and his country roots, in 2012. There he recorded a demo of the song "Reality" which found its way to veteran music industry manager Eddie Wenrick (Moody Blues, Earth, Wind and Fire, Warrant, Jane's Addiction). Produced and recorded in Nashville with top session musicians, Matthew Human's new studio album is simply the latest culmination of his musical artistry. Matthew states, "It's all about people, making wholesome, holistic, conscious decisions and creating a sustainable lifestyle. For me, it's important not only to sing and bring joy, but to truly live my talk through a healthy balance of food, exercise and activism. I believe - Country music will help save the planet!"
