Emily King Announces New Album "Scenery" And Releases Track "Look At Me Now" Today
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Lauded NY songstress Emily King has announced release plans for her long awaited new album. Scenery will be released via ATO on February 1st. The news comes as she drops a second track from the album, "Look At Me Now", available on DSPs now.

The GRAMMY® nominated artist says of the track, "I wanted to write a song addressing someone who hurt you in the past. As if you just run into them on the street one day and now's your chance to let them know how great you've been doing. But really, all you want is their attention. Insecurity disguised as swagger."

News of Scenery's impending release will delight King's fans, who have been eagerly awaiting news since the release of new single "Remind Me" last month, and is already #8 on the KCRW airplay charts. The album, produced by long time musical cohort Jeremy Most and mixed Tom Elmhirst (Adele, Amy Winehouse, David Bowie) was recorded in upstate New York, nestled in the Catskill Mountains, where Emily now makes her home after a lifetime of Lower East Side living.

Scenery follows the critically acclaimed album The Switch (2015) which included the hit "Distance" (more than 13 million streams). Following the album's release, King performed on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Conan, Prairie Home Companion, and toured with Alabama Shakes. This is her first release with ATO Records.

King has also announced additional tour dates for 2019 - on the heels of her handful of shows this month. She will visit Seattle, Chicago, DC and Philly this winter. File under Not To Be Missed.
