This gifted quartet is at the forefront of the next generation of leading teen pop stars. With voices that rival Demi Lovato,
Selena Gomez and
Taylor Swift and influences that range from
Leona Lewis to
Mariah Carey and The Supremes, The PreZcotts' debut record is an ebullient blend of gorgeous melody and lyrics that deal with universal issues affecting teens such as bullying, overcoming insecurities and learning to be comfortable in your own skin.
The sisters' musical talents blossomed while singing for their local church choir in Modesto, CA. Whether covering Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters," Diana Ross' "
Do U Know" or "We R Family" by Sister Sledge, The PreZcotts add a distinct, uplifting voice to every song. 'GOSSIP' also features original tracks written by AnaLeyna including the title song, 'TurnAround,' and 'Strength,' which was inspired by the sisters' father who recently passed away.
"I wrote 'Strength' to encourage those who have ever lost a loved one to find the strength within them to help them push forward," she explains. "We've seen people brought to tears when they hear this song, myself included. If this song helps one person in the world cope with loss, then "
Strength" has served its purpose."
On November 13, The PreZcotts will make a special appearance at the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco to debut the Blu-ray version of the music video for 'GOSSIP' directed by
Hannah Montana creator Rich Correll. Watch a performance during the casting call for the upcoming music video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uo9YJaGRwSk
