Godsmack's Album 'When Legends Rise' Enters Billboard Charts
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Multi-platinum band GODSMACK has exploded onto the album charts with WHEN LEGENDS RISE (via BMG), the band's seventh studio album and their first in four years. The 11-song collection, fueled by the Top 5 rock song and video "Bulletproof" plus the title track"When Legends Rise," has entered the Billboard Top 200 album chart in the top ten (#8), with four #1 placements on other charts: Top Rock Albums, Top Hard Music Albums, Top Independent Albums and Top Alternative Albums. WHEN LEGENDS RISE is available on CD, LP and Digital.

In other news,iHeart Media presents iHeartRadio LIVE with Godsmackat the iHeartRadio Theater in New York City tonight (Wednesday, May 9) at 9:00 PM (ET). The 60-minute live event will feature an exclusive Q&A and an intimate performance. The event will broadcast live to listeners nationwide on iHeartMedia's Rock radio stations and video stream on iHeartRadio's Official YouTube on Wednesday, May 9 at 9:00pm local time.

Last month, GODSMACK released the official music video for "Bulletproof." Directed by filmmaker Troy Smith, the song's video is a short film that parodies the making of a rock video with cameos from Billy Ray Cyrus and Sebastian Bach. Frontman SULLY ERNAultimately hires his crazy Italian cousin to direct the video and everything goes wrong. Click hereto watch. In addition, "When Legends Rise" served as a theme song for WWE's "Greatest Royal Rumble" event, which streamed live 4/27 on the WWE Network.

On the live front, the band--SULLY ERNA [vocals, guitar], TONY ROMBOLA [guitar],ROBBIE MERRILL [bass], and SHANNON LARKIN [drums]--kicked off their 2018 live shows in Jacksonville, FL April 27, headlining at Welcome to Rockville, the first of seven U.S. festivals the band will perform at through July 14. Next up is their co-headlining six-week outdoor amphitheater tour with Shinedown which launches July 22 and hits more than 30 cities (see all dates below).

20 years since the release of their debut album and 20 million album sales later, GODSMACKare an even stronger animal than before. The proof is in the grooves of WHEN LEGENDS RISE.
