New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Voodoo Experience) - Lenny Kravitz, one of the music world's preeminent artists returns stateside to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of his iconic debut album Let Love Rule with a closing performance on Sunday, November 1st at Voodoo Experience in New Orleans. With a sound that is as much a melting pot as the city itself, Kravitz will join the weekend-long festivities (Friday, October 30, Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1) which showcase the bohemian culture, arts and cuisine of New Orleans, his part-time home. The writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist's performance is bound to captivate audiences with his signature style-music carrying echoes of past eras, combining classic rock, old-school soul, gritty funk and confectionary '60s pop, yet always boasting an urgency and craftsmanship reflective of modern times. With close to 40 million records sold worldwide, Kravitz's appearance at VOODOO EXPERIENCE will include material from throughout his over 20 year career.

Kravitz joins VOODOO's already eclectic line-up that is anchored by performances from Eminem-in his first full performance in over four years and only scheduled concert of 2009-and KISS, one of the most influential and successful rock and roll bands of all-time. They'll join the reunited Jane's Addiction-with all of the original members for their last scheduled U.S. date in 2009-along with Widespread Panic who'll perform as part their annual Halloween tradition (1997-2002) of live shows in the city.

New Orleans' signature fall music event will offer three days of entertainment at the historic City Park locale set amidst lush lagoons, bayous, one of the largest collections of mature oak trees in the world-all in the shadow of the New Orleans Museum of Art and just minutes from the historic French Quarter and Central Business District.

This year's LOA Lounge will go beyond the traditional VIP offerings with a unique VOODOO spin on Southern hospitality. The LOA experience begins with reserved parking in the LOA parking lot, line free entrance, raised viewing area, complimentary classic New Orleans lunch buffet with signature drinks daily, complimentary dinner buffet with Bourbon Street-style and 3-for-1 drink specials nightly, continuous full bar service, exclusive live performances, private bathrooms and more. In addition, VIP ticketholders will enjoy the LOA Lounge Front Row: mainstage "front row" access in an exclusive area in front of the stage open only to LOA Lounge ticket holders and the just-added Aveda spa services, compliments of the Aveda Institute including a variety of hair, hand and aromatherapy treatments.
