Luna D' Lunes Brings In Latin Soul With New EP
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ JMD Records) All the way from Caracas, Venezuela is the founding member of band Luna D' Lunes (LDL) - no other than Nestor Nunez. Born in Cuba but honed his musicality in Puerto Rico, Nestor moved to the US and performed with North Carolina's Glass Moon. He produced two albums with the group but then he decided to return to his homeland Venezuela. From there, he rounded up his own music group - Luna D' Lunes - with top-notch musicians Harry Dornbusch (guitar), Luis Alvarado (guitar), Nelson Sarda (drums), Vicente Delgado (keyboards), and Pedro 'Conan' Rodriguez (drums).

As the newly-formed LDL, they released their first CD 'Dejata Hechizar' with 11 original songs in English and Spanish. In Caracas, they continued to perform and even shared a stage as opening act for Mexican group, Mana. In 2008, however, LDL took a hiatus. They resumed performing in Miami, Florida a few years later, this time recording a second EP titled 'I Like It' with five new original songs distributed by JMD Records.

But LDL was not finished yet, wanting to progress from being already a good band - they wanted to be great. Nestor, Harry and the rest of LDL recruited the additional talents of Miami musicians Maria Ochoa (drums and percussion) and Gennady Vychegorodtsev (saxophone) to spice up their already red-hot repertoire.

With such lust for creating original music bursting with style and a Latino flavor, Luna D' Lunes will remain steadfast in delivering just that. Get to know more of Luna D' Lunes and download their music from iTunes, distributed by JMD Records and INgrooves (a partner of Universal Music Group.)
