BURBANK, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - British trio Muse announce North American arena and festival tour dates that include stops at New York City's prestigious Madison
Square Garden arena and headlining slot at the famed Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.
Muse, which is singer/guitarist Matt Bellamy, bassist Chris Wolstenholme, and drummer Dominic Howard, are touring in support of their latest album "Black Holes and Revelations," which debuted at Number 9 on Billboard's album chart last July and been hailed by critics on both sides of the Atlantic as Muse's best album yet. Its first U.S. single, "Knights of Cydonia," cracked the Top 10 on Billboard's Hot Modern Rock chart, while the second single "Starlight" climbed to Number 2. Their third studio album, 2003's "Absolution," has recently been certified gold in the U.S., with "Black Holes and Revelations" fast on its heels.
Rolling Stone Magazine declares, "...'Black Holes And Revelations' will push your pleasure buttons." Blender Magazine agrees, stating, "'Black Holes' strikes the mother-load... 45 brutally efficient minutes, and has the momentum of a meteor."
Muse is currently playing the European summer festival tour circuit, heading back to North America for a string of dates kicking off on August 1st in Toronto, Canada at Arrow Hall.
