New York, NY (Top40 Charts) This morning, PJ Morton celebrates three GRAMMY nominations for his 2018 self-released Gumbo Unplugged (Live): Best R&B Album, Best R&B Performance ("First Began"), and Best Traditional R&B Performance ("How Deep Is Your Love" feat. Yebba). Building on last year's nominations for Best R&B Album (2017's Gumbo) and Best R&B Song ("First Began"), he's achieved five total back-to-back nods for the singular collection of work that's cemented him as "the undisputed prince of contemporary New Orleans soul music" (Offbeat).

PJ Morton recorded both the Gumbo Unplugged film and album in one seamless take in front of dozens of fans at New York City's Power Station Studio just two days before last year's GRAMMY ceremony. He was joined by the 22-piece Matt Jones Orchestra as well as guests like Yebba, BJ The Chicago Kid, The Hamiltones, Lecrae, and Keyon Harrold.

PJ's 2018 has seen him accomplish some remarkable feats: he released "this year's surprise stocking stuffer" (EW) of a Christmas album (Christmas With PJ Morton), sold out nearly every headlining tour date across the globe, and collaborated with the likes of Tyler Perry, the Oprah Winfrey Network, and Jay Pharoah on various exciting projects.

He recently announced a special Kennedy Center Valentine's Day concert with a full orchestra, and will perform with Stevie Wonder at the Staples Center this weekend before his Gumbo Christmas Tour caps the year -- full tour dates below.
