New York, NY (Top40 Charts) There is no date that is un-met, nor a deadline that does not expire, which is why El Cuarto del Siglo (The Quarter of the Century) has arrived for Panteón Rococó. This year is the celebration of 25 years of uninterrupted musical trajectory for the Mexican group and will be celebrated with a Sold-Out concert in the impressive Foro Sol in Mexico City on May 9th.
After only three days of the pre-sale release of the great El Cuarto del Siglo concert, 62,000 tickets on sale are officially sold out. A new date for a second concert was added for May 8th and tickets went on sale today. This is how Panteón Rococó shares their triumph with OCESA, who, with great warmth, have accompanied them throughout all these years. This is the first time that the group will perform a unique and solo show at the Foro Sol, demonstrating once again their ability to gather and celebrate this 25th anniversary with their family, friends, musical partners, their loyal audience and the new generations committed to preserving a unique experience - in the pure style of Panteón Rococó.
The group is made up of 8 musicians: Monel and Gorri on the guitars, Darío on the bass, Tanis on the percussions, Missael on the saxophone, Paco on the trombone, Felipe on the keyboard and Dr. Shenka on the lead vocals. Eight souls intertwined by countless moments that sustain the band they represent today; with 9 recorded albums, more than 20 tours to the old continent and the United States, and sellers of albums whose music transcends borders.
With this sold-out performance, Panteón Rococó reinforces their position as one of the most important bands in the national rock scene, demonstrating the undeniable connection with their audience: they are deserving representatives of Mexican music in its diverse fusions and genres, they are authentic, supportive and have managed to exalt the name of their country in foreign lands and for a quarter of a century have managed to eliminate borders by sharing their musical proposal.
In the meantime, the group awaits with great joy the upcoming May 9th to live one of the most significant experiences of their career that will be a historical celebration with great recognition because - although 25 years are said to be easy - it is a journey of experiences through the banners of peace, dance and resistance.
