NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Epic Records) - Epic recording artist Sara Bareilles fresh off tour dates with Mika is now set to hit the road with alternative rock band, Rocco DeLuca and The Burden for a string of summer tour dates to support her highly anticipated forthcoming major-label debut album, Little Voice, out July 3.

The extraordinary Sara Bareilles is a mesmerizing singer/songwriter – whose sound has been compared to Fiona Apple and Norah Jones – who grew up performing in her native Humboldt County community productions and high school ensembles with no formal training in either voice or piano. Much of Sara's adolescence was spent perched in front of a worn piano teaching herself chords and scribbling out simple melodies and lyrics. In 2003, Sara co-produced her first independent studio demo, "Careful Confessions,' which earned Sara a loyal grassroots following through touring. With word of mouth support and hypnotic live performances that leave fans hanging on her every word, Epic Records took notice and signed Sara to a record deal in April 2005.

Little Voice, - which was recorded in Los Angeles with renowned producer Eric Rosse (Tori Amos, Anna Nalick) - contains twelve songs that are stylistically acute, with fluid blends of pop and rock, as well as soul and jazz that reveal Sara's incredible vocal prowess. Recently singer/songwriter Rachael Yamagata had this to say about Sara, "...Sara Bareilles is insanely great and with a voice from I don't know what planet, but I'd like to go there.'

The first single off Little Voice is the addictive pop track, 'Love Song.' which has been selected as the tunes single of the week, beginning June 19th.

'Love Song' was born from, as Sara says, 'being kick you in the crotch mad.' 'I was in the middle of 'developing' the last bit of material for the album and spent most of my time trying to enter a creative space. Nothing I wrote seemed to be what the label was looking for and I caught myself critiquing my own ideas as I imagined they would do and freaked. I was pissed at myself for letting that bullshit creep into my brain. I swore I would write something totally honest, whatever it may be: good, or bad. And I did. 'Love Song' was my response to all that, it was my little stick it to 'em.' Ironically, it became the first single.

You can catch Sara Bareilles performing 'Love Song,' and other favorites from Little Voice on the upcoming Rocco DeLuca tour. For more information please go www.sarabmusic.com.
