The Cactus Blossoms Expand US Dates, Add European Run To Current Tour Celebrating "Rich, Vibrant" (NPR) New Album Easy Way
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Cactus Blossoms have added select U.S. shows to their summer touring schedule, in addition to a European stretch in August and September. The new U.S. dates include a special hometown performance at Minneapolis' "Music in the Zoo" series on June 1, kicking off their 2019 summer season. The brother duo, featuring Jack Torrey and Page Burkum, have been touring non-stop following the release of their new album Easy Way on Walkie Talkie Records. In addition to an opening play with Jenny Lewis at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium last month, their headline shows have been featured as must-sees by the Philly Inquirer, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Boston Globe, and New York Times who hailed the new album's "sunny outlook….with heart-on-its-sleeve lyrics."

Before their recent show at NYC's Bowery Ballroom, the band stopped by WNYC to play select cuts from the new album. Listen to the performance + interview here: https://www.wnyc.org/story/cactus-blossoms/

Upon its release, Easy Way debuted at #1 on the CIMS Indie Retail Chart, cracked the Top 10 at both Billboard Heatseekers and Americana Radio, and scored raves from NPR, Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, and beyond.

PRAISE FOR THE CACTUS BLOSSOMS' EASY WAY
"Rich, vibrant" - NPR Here & Now
"The Cactus Blossoms maintain their rock-solid, freak of genetics harmonies…..scuffing up their sound in a Roy Orbison-meets-Television style" - Rolling Stone

"The sound is retro, but the words are up to the minute" - The New York Times
""[Easy Way] feels like drifting into a dream you never want to wake from.....no one currently creates charming vocal folk-pop as pleasing and striking as the Cactus Blossoms."- American Songwriter

"If you don't visibly swoon at least two dozen times listening to this album, you need to get out and look up at the stars more" - Minneapolis Star Tribune

"Subtly crafted and deeply felt…has the depth to not only last but improve with subsequent spins." - AllMusic
