New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ The Shack Band) On March 30, 2013, at 3pm The Signalman Show (University of Richmond Student Radio--WDCE 90.1/WDCE.org) hosted by Josh Urban, will air an in-depth interview covering the history of the band, touring, stories from the road, musical goals and influences with all members of The Shack Band.
Urban (a Washington D.C. area musician and DJ) recently joined the band for dinner at The Bayou in Washington D.C. and held a lengthy conversation touching on the band's history, their nearly non-stop touring schedule, stories from the road, the group's goals, and musical influences, prior to the group's performance that night.
The Shack Band is starting to gain regional media attention with recent coverage by the University of Georgia's student newspaper, The Red & Black, and the Frederick, Md., music blog Bucket of Rock. Bassist
Mason Owen, recently made an appearance on independent radio station WRIR 97.3, in Richmond, Va., to assist in their fund raising.
