The Ting Tings Announce US Summer 2015 Tour; New Album 'Super Critical' Out Now
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) U.K. alt-pop duo THE TING TINGS-Katie White & Jules De Martino-have just announced they will return to the U.S. for a series of summer dates. The tour will kick off Thursday, June 18 at Wire in Berwyn, IL and includes rescheduled dates at San Francisco's Regency Ballroom on July 1 and The Wiltern in Los Angeles July 2. A full list of tour dates is below.

"While making this record we got inspired by clubs from the USA. From Studio 54 to CBGB, we want to capture the energy of those places in our performances on our summer 2015 U.S. tour," say THE TING TINGS, who also did a select run of dates earlier this year. "We're coming again America. See you soon." View below critical quotes from their last series of shows stateside.

This announcement comes on the heels of the duo's recent performance of their single "Wrong Club" on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Watch online now below on Top40-Charts.com:

"Wrong Club" appears on THE TING TINGS' third studio album SUPER CRITICAL, out now on Finca/[PIAS]. The song continues to gain major support at HOT AC radio, this week breaking into the Mediabase Top 30. "Wrong Club" has already been playlisted at SiriusXM's "Venus," Mix 101.9/Chicago, KLLC (Alice)/San Francisco, KALC (Alice)/Denver, Fresh94/D.C., WBMX/Boston, WWMX/Baltimore, KAMX/Austin among many others. The band will perform "Wrong Club" on VH1′s "Big Morning Buzz" show on Tuesday May 26th.

THE TING TINGS-known for their massive hits"That's Not My Name"and "Shut Up and Let Me Go," among others-approached this new album differently. Feeling uninspired, the two sought out an adventure in late 2012 which took them to Ibiza. While there, someone introduced Katie and Jules to Duran Duran's stalwart guitarist Andy Taylor who offered to help sift through some old demos and became co-producer of this project. Songs began emerging. The result is SUPER CRITICAL, a hook-laden, modern disco-funk opus.

THE TING TINGS live critical quotes:
"The relaxed electro-pop song 'Only Love' (off of 'Super Critical') generated a solid groove, while an extended, raved-up version of 'Hands' (a bonus track from the deluxe version of 'Sounds From Nowheresville') worked up the audience into a fine frenzy, thanks to the double-DJing efforts of Boix and De Martino." -Eric Walden, THE SALT LAKE TRIBUNE, 4/1/15

"Imagine a home video featuring a toddler in a confined space stomping around making all kinds of racket using everything within reach, and you have an image of how Katie White performs as one-half of the Ting Tings…Both White and her partner, Jules De Martino, switched instruments often, going from drums to guitar to MIDI controllers to cowbell back to guitar and drums only to trade out for something else on the following tune. A kickdrum was set up high on a stand at the back of the stage; when White reached it, she began smacking it to create more noise in time with her partner on the kit until she laughingly knocked it over." -Jack Gorman, HOUSTON PRESS, 4/22/15

"White was a whirlwind of energy - dancing, pacing and spinning around the stage, flailing her hair, even as she played guitar. On 'Fruit Machine,' the duo's first single from 2007, White was so intense that she dropped to her knees and slapped the stage, then bent forward until her head touched the floor." -John J. Moser, THE MORNING CALL(Allentown, PA), 4/11/15

"Rocking a wild pony tail and a t-shirt that read 'Good Vibes', The Ting Tings' frontwoman Katie White really brought serious energy (and, as advertised, good vibes) to Union Transfer on Friday night. The British duo commanded the crowd with disco tinged tunes and electro-pop anthems, making sure to perform songs from all three of their albums." -Morgan Smith, THE KEY (Philadelphia, PA), 4/14/15

"From the start, lead singer White's main objective was to keep her fans dancing. And that's just what they did. The Ting Tings had audience members moving and grooving the entire night as they brought much more than just an assortment pop heavy hits to their show. Unlike some disingenuous pop artists of today, The Ting Tings proved themselves as full-fledged multi-talented musicians. De Martino slayed most of the night on drums (also alternating between keyboard and guitar) while White sang her heart out and executed funky guitar riffs and wasn't afraid to add a little cowbell." -Lilly Glenister, THE DAILY AZTEC (SDSU), 4/7/15

"The biggest jam session happened during 'That's Not My Name,' one of The Ting Tings' most popular and catchy songs. Older married couples were dancing just as much as the younger college students, highlighting The Ting Tings' unique ability to merge the likes of all age groups." -Cassie Zimnoch, THE HORN (University of Texas), 4/26/15

"White's personality was big enough to command the whole stage. From the funky opener "Do It Again" to the extended techno workout of 'Wrong Club' that closed their set, White jumped, preened and pranced all over the place. She even played cowbell on two tracks without a hint of irony!" - Taisuke Tanimura, THE SNIPE (Vancouver, BC), 3/29/15

"Perhaps their best known single 'That's Not my Name,' brought the audience to a frenzied crescendo of exuberance as White chanted defiantly 'They call me quiet, but I'm a riot!' 'Wrong Club,' the single off their latest album, is a retro disco dance groove that features White wailing on some cowbell. To be sure, if you weren't at 9:30 for this set, you were at the wrong club." -Melissa Groth, BRIGHTESTYOUNGTHINGS.COM, 4/13/15

"This set was incendiary and could have gone into corybantic obscurity, alas it never did cause these guys have excellent method to their jubilant madness. Powering through their set playing such hits as the anthemic 'Shut Up and Let Me Go', the funk monster 'Hang It Up' and their big arena filler 'That's Not My Name.' A personal favorite from the set was their Discoteque friendly burner 'Only Love' from last year's Super Critical album." -Kieran MacIntire, MONSTERSANDCRITICS.COM, 1/27/15

"For just two people, The Ting Tings never fail to blow concertgoers minds." -Tashana Billey, LIVEINLIMBO.COM, 1/21/15

"…things started getting wild. White had an appetite for destruction and went on a stage-wide rampage, carelessly dropping her guitar into the careful waiting hands of a roadie, beating the bass drum until it fell over its stand, breaking a drumstick on a cowbell, and of course, it wouldn't be complete without dropping a mic stand like a real rock star." -Ashley Emma NG, BESTFAN.COM, 1/25/15

"Probably the most unique song of the night was the encore closer, the greatly reworked 'Hands.' With pulsing/blinding strobe lights and a pumping beat, they played around with it for a while (with Jules off drums and beside Boix), I think it illustrated both their ingenuity as well as the versatility of their songs, which they have been known to rework in new and interesting ways." -Jason Debord, ROCKSUBCULTURE.COM, 1/27/15
