Top40 +1!

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The new +1 recommendation service by Google is now officially making it's way to websites all over the world and we are embracing it as well!

The +1 button is shorthand for "this is pretty cool" or "you should check this out.". Click +1 to publicly give something your stamp of approval. Your +1's can help friends, contacts, and others on the web find the best stuff when they search.

Here on Top40-Charts.com, you will see a +1 icon on the top of all pages, clicking on it will recommend our site. You will also see +1 buttons in news articles such as this page, to recommend the specific article.

In related news, we have brought back Tweet functionality in the news articles, using the official Twitter button (the previous service we used was slowing down our page and we had to remove it).
