New York, NY (Top40 Charts) New England based punk band ZERO HOLDS have teamed up with Sean Carney of The Scandals to put together a sick string of tour dates this March, that they�re calling the Beer Mugs and Bear Hugs Tour. They will be hitting a bunch of basement spaces and dive bars to promote the recent release of ZERO HOLDS' debut EP and Sean�s special limited edition solo acoustic material.
�We�ve been gigging with Sean in New England for years, both solo and with our old bands, it was exciting to see him join The Scandals and tour extensively with acts nothing short of iconic [Gaslight Anthem, Bad Religion],� states Joe of ZH, �so when he agreed to work with us on this tour we were really stoked.� It's that time of year where every band under the sun packs up and heads to Austin for SXSW, but ZH and Sean are gonna hold it down for the east coast, kicking off with a March 11th home-towner performance in Providence RI, then hitting NY, NJ, PA, VA, and DC for nine dates. Biography: ZERO HOLDS is a rock and roll band with grit. They formed amid the ashes of Massachusetts based band THE ROMAN NUMERAL THREE, a faux-acoustic/post-rock effort including Joe Touchette, Mike Rague, and John Thomas. By a certain stroke of chance, Tyler Leadbetter soon emerged gallantly from the lost village of
Hanson Ma. to join the remaining three in making a new and slightly edgier style of music. Touchette seasons his lyrics with evident gloom and a hint of curiosity, Rague simmers them over ambient guitars like stove burner flames growing ever larger until the kitchen burns away from the house.
