- Santa Paula Police participated in the #InMyFeelingsChallenge, which was a popular dance craze that swept the internet. The Santa Paula Police dance video was featured on NBC.
- Football: Santa Paula vs Fillmore Football is the longest football rivalry in Ventura County, CA, playing its 109th game in 2018. Fillmore pulled off a furious comeback in the second half to beat Santa Paula, giving them the only loss of the season. Video footage by Fego Cinematography.
- The Pumpkin Patch at Limoneira Ranch, receives more than 20,000 people from Southern California and beyond that features a 5 acre corn maze, flying pumpkins from a recreated French Trebuchet (pumpkin chucker) where kids and the young catapult pumpkins thousands feet towards the "castle" and win prizes, including a petting zoo hosted by the Future Farmers of America (FFA) and wagon rides.
