Poncho Sanchez, Ryan Montano & Tony Lujan = Screaming Trumpet Fun

This was truly an honor... My good friend and trumpet player extraordinaire Tony Lujan (www.TonyLujan.com) provided the hook up and got us a gig with latin jazz great Poncho Sanchez...What I really loved about this song is that Tony and I got locked into a fun and friendly trumpet battle... I've done these types of "battles" before where it turns into a pissing contest full of ego and testosterone...I can honestly say that this was purely about the music and creating a great vibe for the audience...Plus it sounds awesome when Tony belts out the double "A" and the end of the solo section...
