KALEIDOSCOPIO - "Tem Que Valer"

"Tem Que Valer" is taken from the album "Tem Que Valer" (IRM 801 CD - 2004) available on www.msol.biz Kaleidoscopio come from Sao Paulo, home of the new Brazilian electronic wave. Their music could be described as 'crossover Brazilian Drum'n Bass'.Drum'n Bass is the background of DJ/producer Ramilson Maia, one half of Kaleidoscopio, who was among the originators of the genre, under his moniker Ram Science, along with other pioneers like Drumagick, DJ Marky, DJ Patife. He also founded the DJ School in Sao Paulo together with Drumagick. The other half of the duo is Janaina Lima, singer, songwriter, dancer and fantastic live performer. She sings with a real pop attitude without losing touch with the best Brazilian tradition and dances with her unique, Capoeira inspired, acrobatic style. Following the success in Brazil their music began to travel around the World in 2004, when IRMA records released their singles 'Meu Sonho' and 'Voce Me Apareceu'. The latter became a huge hit in Italy and was Top 5 in the Italian sales and radio charts for 6 weeks. The band appeared on all main Italian TV and radio stations and performed several live gigs across the country. Kaleidoscopio's first album 'Tem Que Valer', signed by Irma for the World except for Brazil and Portugal, will be released in 2005 by Warner Music in France and subsequently in other European territories and in Japan.
