Performed by John Leyton (and The Outlaws). Geoff Goddard wrote this song in 20 Minutes after a dream. It was produced by eccentric producer Joe Meek and went straight to number one in July 1961. Goddard and Meek were both spiritualists and many of their songs including the massive hit TELSTAR came to them during seance's. John Leyton (who was a actor, became an overnight success).
