Having formed in Melbourne in 2001, the trio, Slinkee Minx scored an Australain hit with their cover of Belinda Carlisle’s “Summer Rain” in 2004. Their cover of Wham’s “Careless Whisper” first appeared the same year on an EP with their second hit, “Closer”, which reached #39 in Australia. “Careless Whisper” had been a huge worldwide hit for Wham in 1984. S Sadly we lost George Michael on Christmas Day, 2016. RIP George and thanks for the music.
