For years there was always talk of George St Pierre facing off against Anderson Silva in a super fight but the bout never materialized, both fighters held titles in their own respective weight classes for a long period of time. Now since both fighters are not holding titles anymore, it time for both fighters to face off and prove who is the better fighter.
2. Tyron Woodley
Since George St Pierre Retired as champion, it makes sense for him face the current champion Tyron Woodley. The 2 different styles will definitely make it a great fight to watch. Tyron Woodley defeated Robbie Lawler by knockout in the first round at UFC 201 to become the new UFC Welterweight Champion of the world.
3. Johny Hendricks
In George St Pierre’s last fight, he defeated Johny Hendricks by a split decision at UFC 167, a lot of fans thought that Johny Hendricks won the fight including the UFC president Dana White. This fight will be a great opportunity for GSP to prove once for all that why he is the better fighter.
4. Nick Diaz
With Nick Diaz recently saying George St Pierre is scared to fight him again. GSP responded saying he would beat him worse than he did last time if they fought again, this would be a perfect fight for George St Pierre to make a comeback.
5. Robbie Lawler
Robbie Lawler recently lost his title to Tyron Woodley at UFC 201 and is looking to get back into title contention, with George St Pierre looking to make a comeback, this can be a perfect fight for him, as he will be able to test himself against a former champion, it will let GSP know whether or not he is ready to challenge current champion Tyron Woodley.
