Ray Charles - What'd I Say Part 2 ((MONO)) 1959

Debuted 7/59 #1 R&B; #6 Hot 100 This is the B- side of Ray's hit single which is a continuation of the record's hit A-side (part 1 also posted). When Ray refused to edit down the song below its over 5 minute run time, Atlantic records compromised by doing an A-side/B-side split of the recording. This gave consumers the entire single mix, while also keeping the A-side below the three minute mark for radio airplay. Rolling Stone ranked this song as the 10th Greatest Song of All Time on their list of 500. This is the original HIT MONO MIX released on Atlantic 2031 when this was a HUGE hit on AM Top 40 radio stations in the summer of '59.
