Kirk wakes up in a hospital realizing he was revived with synthesized blood from Khan. Kirk and Spock then have a beautiful moment that show their friendship. And of course we get some good ol' McCoy humor. After one year of the events that took place throughout the film, Kirk gives a speech and announces the re-christening of the Enterprise and the crew take off on their 5 year journey.
