However, Miss Mulatto explained that she never spoke face-to-face with Jermaine Dupri about the deal, adding that their lawyers were the only ones involved in the conversation.  During the sit-down, Miss Mulatto also spoke about riding the independent wave, investing money from the show, and getting offers from other labels.
