China unveils new list of tariff exemptions for American imports
China has released a second list of tariff exemptions for imports from the U.S. as part of the "phase one" of its trade deal with Washington. The waivers will be effective December 26 and will last for a year. They apply to six items, most of them chemical products. Beijing says the tariffs that have already been levied will not be canceled but the second batch of waivers will be released in an appropriate time.
