So if you are looking to spend some quality time with it, then look no further — this week's First Play Live session is about as intimate as any we've ever recorded. Haines didn't want to come to the CBC and perform her new songs in a concert setting. She wanted something deeper and more meaningful; something closer to the music and her experience creating it. We were more than happy to oblige. What Haines delivered is closer to a one-woman play than to a rock concert. Performed in front of an audience of about 100 fans at the Crow's Theatre in Toronto, Haines gave a special performance of songs from Choir of the Mind.
