DEBBY HOLIDAY: Here Comes the Flood (HARVEY FUNDRAISER SHOW)
Hurricane Harvery created the highest single-day, single-storm rainfall total in the history of North America. The accumulated water equals 27 trillion gallons. That’s enough water to cover the entire state of Delaware.
The estimate to repair the damage alone is projected to be $120 Billion, and it will take years of repair.
Despite the best of preparation – no person, no city, no design could accommodate 50 inches of rain.
Tonight, in addition to raising funds, we honor those who’s lives have been disrupted, those who don’t know tomorrow where they will sleep, and the thousands of hero first responders who have come from everywhere to help.
Here to give our collective heart – in the form of a Peter Gabriel song…
On drums we welcome back Joe Travers
On bass, our Captain from Quiet Riot, Chuck Wright
On keys, Walter Ino
On guitar from MSG, Mitch Perry
On Acoustic guitar from Dilana, Michael Martinsson
And out front…”The Star”…Debby Holiday
