Gio has enlivened thousands of people in every corner of the globes by his both Asian and European sensibilities as well as powerful performances. Gio Vanhoutte started electronic music and DJing in Belgium since 2006. While he played as resident DJ in Lime Club, DecaDance and Culture Club in Gent (Belgium), which has turned out the great artists like The Subs, 2 Many DJs, etc, he could quickly develop his skills and upfront approach to making and playing music to turning him into a global phenomenon. He also has influences of his very close friends like Maxim Lany, Nathan Fix, NEON, Ante Perry, Ramon Tapia, Noir, and Martin Eyerer. Gio later hold chance to playing in South Korea where he spend his childhood. After several times playing, he got instantly fascinated by Asian club scene. He believes that his passion to conquer Asian club scene made his mixing skills more energetic. At present, Gio represents Asia/Pacific for W Hotels Worldwide after he won the competition called W Hotels & Burn Studios DJ Lab 2012. His advantage is playing 2 continental different genres of house music. When in Europe, he goes deep & sexy. When in Asia, he burns the dance floor down with Progressive & Electro. For the next step, Gio is heading to his dream as producer by the international exchange with worlds big artists and Belgian connection. He also spread his musical worldview through the Taiwan magazine PPAPER as guest editor.
